• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions and distributed systems.
• Experience leading architecture and solution design across multiple technology domains.
• Strong background in requirements discovery, solution architecture, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience evaluating options, documenting solution approaches, and guiding decisions.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, APIs, system integration, scalability, security, and modern architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and governance considerations.

You’ll work across engineering, data, cloud, security, and business teams to define solution approaches, guide architectural decisions, and ensure technology investments align with business objectives. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives in complex environments, can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on solution design, and enjoys solving business problems through thoughtful architecture and cross‑functional collaboration.

Target Hiring Range:

$150,000–$175,000

What You’ll Do

• Lead discovery and current-state assessments with business and technology stakeholders to understand existing systems, dependencies, and requirements, identify opportunities, and define solution approaches.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient architectures across applications, integrations, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and emerging technologies.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, and data teams to ensure solutions align with architectural principles and operational requirements.
• Develop clear, implementation-ready solution architectures, technical designs, system integrations, and implementation approaches for strategic initiatives.
• Facilitate architecture reviews and provide guidance on technical tradeoffs, risks, scalability, and long‑term maintainability.
• Support modernization initiatives, helping teams reduce technical debt and improve platform performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Evaluate technologies, vendor solutions, and third‑party platforms to support business objectives and technology evolution.
• Contribute to architecture standards, reference patterns, and best practices while promoting consistency across solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and business leaders to translate strategic goals into practical technology solutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout project planning, design, and delivery.

What You’ll Bring

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions, distributed systems, and cloud‑native applications.
• Experience leading architecture and solution design efforts across multiple technology domains, including applications, cloud, integrations, data, and security.
• Strong background in requirements discovery, solution architecture, technical design, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience evaluating technical options, documenting solution approaches, and guiding architecture decisions through implementation.
• Expertise with cloud platforms, APIs, system integration, scalability, security, and modern application architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, including emerging enterprise AI capabilities, and an understanding of their architectural, security, and governance considerations.

Total Rewards

At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $135,000–$185,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
