Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Software Engineer to join our remote-friendly team. We value building modern software that powers experiences across customers, dealerships, and internal teams at one of North America's largest automotive retailers.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions while advancing our development processes and tooling. 2+ years of experience and a CS/SE degree are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing and supporting software applications in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and a strong foundation in software engineering best practices, including source control, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications, APIs, integrations, and modern software architectures.
• Experience supporting production systems and continuously improving software quality and reliability.
• Curiosity to learn new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

You’ll work alongside product managers, designers, engineers, and business leaders to build scalable solutions that drive innovation and improve how millions of customers interact with our business.

Location: Remote - PST work hours

Compensation Range: $85,000 – $120,000. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
