Job summary

Movable Ink is seeking a Solutions Architect to enable AI-powered, highly personalized email/mobile programs for leading brands. You will design and implement custom technical solutions, lead onboarding, and coordinate with Sales and Implementation teams to ensure client success.

Requirements include 3+ years in technical implementation or consulting in marketing tech, experience with major ESPs, data warehousing/ETL, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical implementation, solution architect, or technical account management role
• 3+ years of consulting experience influencing marketing strategy with advanced technical solutions
• Extensive experience with multiple enterprise email or mobile service providers (e.g., listed in qualifications)
• Ability to identify opportunities to integrate with clients’ APIs, web services, and tech stacks
• Proven track record of managing complex client onboarding projects
• Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript; familiarity with Python or API/webhook integrations a plus
• 2+ years experience with cloud-based large data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies/objectives for Movable Ink channels (Email, Mobile)
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in email and digital marketing, including experience managing AI systems

Responsibilities

Movable Ink scales content personalization for marketers through data-activated content generation and AI decisioning. As a Solutions Architect, you will work with some of the world’s best-known brands, enabling them to deliver AI-powered, highly personalized email and mobile programs. You will act as a universal translator, investigator, and product evangelist focused on establishing clients for long-term success. Using your technical expertise, you will partner with our clients and internal teams to scope, design, and implement custom technical solutions, develop project plans, and manage them through to completion. Naturally curious and determined, you’ll hunt down and resolve technical issues within the client environment, considering the impact on future integrations and the overall technical landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Client Onboarding & Migration: Lead the technical setup and onboarding process for new clients, guiding them to migrate existing email and marketing strategies to our AI/ML-based platform quickly and smoothly.
• Solution Design & Customization: Collaborate with clients and cross-functional internal teams to scope, design, and implement custom technical solutions, integrations (e.g., Custom Apps, Webhook transforms, CDP/API integrations), and workflows to achieve client objectives.
• Data Orchestration: Working directly with client and internal teams to parse, manipulate and format data feeds to support near and long-term initiatives.
• Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex integration issues, evaluating potential impacts across key stakeholders including clients, GTM teams, EPD, and leadership.
• Training & Workshops: Conduct virtual and in-person engaging training sessions and workshops to empower clients and internal teams with knowledge about our platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, Implementation Managers, and other teams to ensure a cohesive and successful client experience
• Product Expertise & Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource on Studio, Da Vinci, and applied AI use cases; advise on product roadmap and feature improvements based on client feedback.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a technical implementation, solution architect, or technical account management role, preferably in the marketing technology sector
• 3+ years of consulting experience, influencing marketing strategy with advanced technical solutions across interconnected systems
• Extensive experience with multiple enterprise email or mobile service providers (e.g., Attentive, Airship, Bird, Sinch, Vibes, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Braze, Epsilon, Cordial, Cheetah Digital, Bloomreach, Zeta, Iterable)
• Ability to identify opportunities to further integrate with clients’ existing APIs, web services, and tech stacks
• Proven track record of managing complex client onboarding projects
• Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and data architectures; familiarity with Python or API/webhook integrations is a plus
• 2+ years experience with cloud-based large data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• High-level understanding of digital marketing strategies/objectives for Movable Ink supported channels (currently Email, Mobile) and the expected outcomes of personalization strategies

• Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in email and digital marketing, including experience managing AI systems

The base pay range for this position is $81K - $106K/year and OTE range is $97.3K -127K, which can include additional bonus depending on the position ultimately offered, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
