Job summary

Organo USA, Inc. is seeking a Solution & Maintenance Operations Technician to support project execution and maintenance activities at our Phoenix facility.

The role involves coordinating with the sales team and customers to define scope, plan resources, and schedule tasks to ensure on-time, on-cost project delivery. You will assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and inspects to verify UPW system performance.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in operating or commissioning fluid handling systems for industrial plants, such as water treatment plants, chemical plants, beverage plants, oil refineries or semiconductor fabs.
• Ability to understand PnIDs, required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, required.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, required.
• Experience with water treatment engineering processes, a plus.
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.
• AutoCAD is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of Solutions Projects and Maintenance.
• Assist with project commissioning activities under the direction of Solutions and Maintenance Operations Manager.
• Partner with Sales Team and Customer to define project scope and timeline.
• Make a Project Plan including resources, timeline and needs.
• Track costs, avoid overages, coordinate change orders with sales.
• Share project reports and lessons learned upon completion.
• Oversee minor construction work and report progress to the manager.
• Understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the UPW system and monitor maintenance work.
• Coordinate with temporary labor for maintenance tasks and procure parts and tools.
• Verify system operation after maintenance and ensure it meets specifications.
• Communicate progress and issues daily to supervisor.
• Respect safety standards for company and client.

Also, assists with project commissioning activities on an as-needed basis under the direction of Solutions and Maintenance Operations Manager.Reporting RelationshipsThe Solution & Maintenance Operations Technician reports to the Solutions and Maintenance Operations Manager.Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesSolution Business:Support the Solution Business Development:Partner with the Sales Team and the Customer to define Project scope and timelineMake a Project Plan including:Internal and External Resources (Material and Labor)TimelineAny other needs for a successful, on-time and on-cost project executionTrack costs, work to avoid overages, coordinate with the sales team on change ordersShare project report and lessons learned upon completionAssists with site oversight for minor construction work when required, mainly by checking work progress and reporting to the managerScheduled Maintenance:Understand the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the UPW systemWork with temporary labor to perform the maintenance workInstruct the procurement of items needed for the maintenance work, including getting quotes for tools, replacement parts and consumables, negotiating price and delivery, check received items conformanceMonitor maintenance work and propose and implement solutions when problems arise.After maintenance work is completed, verify that the system operates according to specifications.
