Job Summary:
As a Sales Advisor at ADT, you will play a key role in connecting homeowners with industry-leading home security and automation solutions. You will work directly with potential customers to understand their security needs, design personalized systems, and close sales. The role demands strong interpersonal skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for generating leads, conducting in-home consultations, and guiding customers through the installation process, all while delivering exceptional service. Leads will be provided as well. Paid during the training period, commission only position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and engage potential customers through various channels including door-to-door sales, referrals, and community events.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct in-home consultations to assess the security needs of homeowners and provide customized ADT security solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Sales Presentations: Effectively present ADT’s security and home automation products and services, demonstrating their value and benefits to customers.
  • Close Sales: Confidently close sales by guiding customers through product options, pricing, financing, and contract terms, ensuring a smooth sales process.
  • Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction, answer questions, and provide support throughout the installation process and beyond.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about ADT’s product offerings, industry trends, and competitor products to effectively communicate ADT’s unique value proposition.
  • Follow-up: Ensure timely follow-up with leads, maintain customer databases, and provide necessary documentation and communication to support installation and customer service teams.
  • Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
