Four Oaks Family and Children Services in Cedar Rapids is seeking a compassionate Solution Focused Meeting Facilitator to guide collaborative conversations, bring families and support teams together, and help identify practical, family-driven solutions that promote stability and long‑term independence.

You’ll prepare participants, coordinate meetings, partner with HHS and FCS professionals, connect families to local services, and complete SBC and YTDM training to support children, youth, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Associate degree in a related field.
• Experience in child welfare or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate Solution Focused Meetings (SFMs) and Youth Transition Decision Making (YTDM) meetings.
• Create a welcoming, respectful environment for families and youth.
• Guide productive discussions to identify challenges and develop solutions.
• Prepare families and team members before meetings.
• Collaborate with HHS workers and FCS providers to ensure coordinated communication.
• Identify community resources to promote stability and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation and meet agency requirements.
• Complete required SBC, SBC training, and Youth Transition Decision Making training.
• Work collaboratively with team members and provide services outside traditional business hours.
