WellSky in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Solution Engineer III to bridge client needs with our technical solutions. You will collaborate with sales, solution development, and implementation teams to define requirements, design scalable integrations, and demonstrate the value of WellSky solutions.

The role emphasizes HL7 interface work, SQL and API integration, and ensuring secure, high-performance implementations for healthcare clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience configuring, implementing, and supporting HL7 interfaces using TCP/IP and APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience architecting custom interfaces or integrations based on technical and vendor specifications.
• Healthcare IT experience, preferably supporting healthcare integrations, interoperability, or clinical data exchange.

Responsabilités

• Partner with project managers to plan and execute development implementation tasks in alignment with client objectives and develop recommendations for mitigating project risks.
• Facilitate discovery sessions to gather requirements and assess feasibility of the custom solution.
• Architect custom solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and performance by leveraging expertise in development tools and technical modalities.
• Perform debugging and root cause analysis for custom solution issues, including documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Demonstrate expert knowledge in at least one solution application by utilizing multiple functionalities, tools, and modalities for effective customization.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding the feasibility of requests by providing tailored explanations and ensuring scope adherence.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
