Vivalink is a leader in digital health technologies, delivering advanced remote data capture solutions for healthcare and clinical research. Our Biometrics Data Platform integrates FDA-cleared medical-grade wearable sensors, cloud-based data services, machine learning algorithms, and clinician software to help organizations design and deploy remote patient monitoring (RPM) and clinical research solutions.
We support pharmaceutical companies, CROs, academia, healthcare providers, and other research
organizations with tools to capture high-quality, real-time physiological data across therapeutic areas
including cardiology, oncology, neurology, and respiratory.
About the Role
We are growing our Solution Consulting function and looking for a customer-facing professional who can bridge clinical research, digital health technology, and commercial engagement. The ideal candidate combines a strong understanding of clinical trials or regulated healthcare technology with the ability to lead scientific and technical conversations with prospective customers.
You will lead discovery, deliver platform demonstrations, onboard evaluation kits, and own the scientific and technical content of proposals and presentations. You will independently manage a portfolio of opportunities and partner with the Clinical Solutions Director on the most complex and strategic deals.
This is a hybrid role, with attendance 3 days per week in our Campbell, California office. Because we
support global customers, flexibility for occasional early-morning meetings with European time zones is required. The role also includes travel for client meetings and conferences.
What You’ll Do
- Lead customer discovery and scientific/technical calls, identifying needs across pharma, biotech, CRO, academic, medical device, digital health, and healthcare technology customers.
- Own the scientific and technical content of proposals, scientific briefs, presentations, and other customer-facing materials.
- Configure and deliver product and platform demonstrations tailored to specific clinical, research, and operational use cases.
- Own evaluation-kit onboarding, guiding customers through setup, use, and early deployment.
- Author and maintain commercial and scientific content, contributing substantively to the commercial content library and market positioning.
- Represent Vivalink at client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Capture field insights and route them to the appropriate internal teams, including product, clinical, engineering, and commercial stakeholders.
- Partner with the Clinical Solutions Director on strategic accounts and elevate the most complex scientific or technical questions appropriately.
- Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously with strong follow-through, organization, and ownership.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, CRO, digital health, medical device, eClinical, clinical technology, remote patient monitoring, or healthcare technology environments.
- Demonstrated exposure to clinical trials, clinical research, clinical development/operations, or technology used to support these workflows. Direct in-house pharma/CRO experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in solution consulting, sales engineering, clinical applications, scientific consulting, technical account management, customer success, or another customer-facing technical/commercial role is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of clinical trials and the drug/device development process, with the ability to learn and communicate complex scientific and technical concepts quickly.
- Experience with wearables, digital health, remote patient monitoring, physiological data, or clinical technology is a plus. Experience in cardiology, oncology, neurology, or respiratory is also helpful but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading live customer calls, presentations, and demonstrations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and the judgment to manage several opportunities at once while taking ownership of customer engagements.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business, healthcare, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
What Success Looks Like
- You can translate customer needs into clear scientific and technical solutions without needing to be the deepest subject-matter expert in every domain.
- You are comfortable operating between commercial, clinical, and technical teams and know when to answer directly versus when to bring in additional experts.
- You can earn credibility with scientific and clinical stakeholders while keeping engagements moving
Compensation
- The expected base salary range for this position is $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
- Vivalink is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
