Capgemini in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead for on-site, contract engagement (2 months 20 days). You will define end-to-end architecture, lead design discussions, and drive modernization of enterprise-scale applications in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with product owners and analysts, mentor teams on patterns and best practices, and ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while delivering value within scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years IT experience in solution architecture and leadership.
• Experience delivering enterprise-grade apps and platforms.
• Strong SDLC, Agile, and DevOps knowledge.
• Cloud expertise (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Technical Lead to drive the architecture, design, and technical delivery of enterprise-scale solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining technical strategies, leading development teams, ensuring solution quality, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in solution architecture and technical leadership.
• Experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade applications and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, and integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, or other modern technology stacks.
• Strong understanding of databases, data architecture, and system integration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• TOGAF, Azure Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or similar certifications are preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Digital Transformation programs is an added advantage.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $36.98/hour - $57.79/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
