Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect and Technical Lead to define architecture, lead engineering teams, and deliver scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will mentor developers, set technical strategy, and drive CI/CD, security, and governance using Azure services, APIM, Functions, databases, and Terraform-based provisioning.

• Solid knowledge of Azure security, monitoring, governance, and IaC best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design, technical strategy, and delivery of Azure cloud solutions.

Job description

8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture design, technical strategy, and delivery of enterprise-grade Azure cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and drive best practices across projects.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Architect and manage Azure API Management (APIM) for API integrations and governance.
• Develop serverless solutions using Azure Functions and Python.
• Design event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus, Storage Queues, and Event Grid.
• Implement and optimize Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or other Azure database platforms.
• Secure applications and infrastructure using Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, and RBAC.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define solution roadmaps.
• Drive CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Python Development
• Expertise in REST APIs, Microservices, Integration Patterns, and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing architectural guidance.
• Strong understanding of Azure security, monitoring, governance, and cloud best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)

Ideal Candidate:

• A hands-on Azure Solutions Architect and Technical Lead who can define architecture, lead engineering teams, and actively develop cloud-native solutions using Azure APIs, Functions, Queues, Databases, Key Vault, and Python.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $44.38/hour - $69.34/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
