Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking an experienced SAP Application Architect to define SAP architecture and extension strategy using ABAP, RAP, and SAP BTP.

You will translate business needs into scalable, future-ready solutions, guiding development standards and ensuring a clean, secure SAP landscape. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and cross-functional teams to drive modernization, mentor developers, and ensure performance and compliance across the SAP stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP application development experience, including leading solution design and architecture initiatives.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, including ABAP, SAP Fiori, APIs, and application extensibility.
• Experience designing and delivering solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of modern SAP development practices, clean-core principles, and cloud-based extension strategies.
• Experience with low-code/no-code technologies, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies and enterprise application architecture.
• Ability to establish development standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.

Position Overview

Responsible for defining SAP application architecture and extension strategy, leveraging ABAP, RAP, and SAP BTP technologies. This role translates business needs into scalable solutions, guides development standards, and ensures a clean, supportable, and future-ready SAP landscape.
