Job summary

The Andersons, aNorth American leader in agribusiness and renewable fuels, seeks an experienced SAP Architect to define architecture, set standards, and drive modernization using ABAP, RAP, and SAP BTP. You will guide development, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, scalable SAP landscapes.

In this senior role, you’ll partner across business and tech teams, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and shape governance while maintaining performance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP application development experience, including experience leading solution design and architecture initiatives.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development, including ABAP, SAP Fiori, APIs, and application extensibility.
• Experience designing and delivering solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Knowledge of modern SAP development practices, clean-core principles, and cloud-based extension strategies.
• Experience with low-code/no-code technologies, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
• Understanding of SAP integration technologies and enterprise application architecture.
• Ability to establish development standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor developers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.

Position Overview

Responsible for defining SAP application architecture and extension strategy, leveraging ABAP, RAP, and SAP BTP technologies. This role translates business needs into scalable solutions, guides development standards, and ensures a clean, supportable, and future-ready SAP landscape.
