Job summary

Lenovo North America HPC AI Sales team seeks a highly skilled architect specialized in high performance computing and artificial intelligence. This remote role operates on EST hours with 40% travel, serving customers across the US and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will drive technical discussions, support the sales cycle, and develop documentation while presenting AI solutions at conferences and customer sites. A strong track record in AI/HPC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business or IT or relevant technical field.
• 8+ years experience selling high tech, big-ticket AI/HPC.
• 10+ years experience as sales engineer or architect with infra and high compute solutions.

This position will be remote with EST hours and 40% travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive technical conversation with customer around HPC AI
• Support the sales team for all technical aspect of the sales
• Develop technical documentation/ write-ups
• Present technical paper at conferences/shows
• Understand customers’ challenges in adopting AI
• Position yourself as a trusted advisor to our customers
• Educate the extended team on HPC AI
• Identify emerging industry markets
• Establish and maintain a professional, working and consultative relationships with clients
• Interface with our WW organization to identify our customer’s need
• Ensure the timely and successful post-sales delivery of AI solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Travel to customer sites to present HPC AI
• Present AI solutions in a professional manner to customers in-person, video conference, email, and phone

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Business or Information Technology or relevant technical field
• 8+ years of Experience selling high tech, big-ticket products or solutions with a strong sales expertise in AI and HPC
• 10+ years of Experience as a sales engineer or architect working with infrastructure and high compute solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of Experience as a sales engineer or architect working with infrastructure and high compute solutions
• 10+ years of Experience selling high tech, big-ticket products with the responsibility to work with Executive stakeholders
• 5+ years of Experience with HPC cluster design: CPU, accelerators, storage, high speed interconnect
• 5+ years of Experience working as a key point of contact with both the customer and internal technical team
• Expertise of AI frameworks and Designing AI Solutions
• Expertise around GPU and FPGA accelerators
• Expertise using consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the customer's business needs with the solution
• Strong verbal communication skills with Experience and comfortability with presenting throughout all organizational levels
• Experience presenting to Executive and C-Level stakeholders
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to influence with tact
• Strong collaboration skills across internal teams, vendors, and delivery partners
• Experience recognizing internal teams, vendors and delivery partners and sharing credit for workStrong documentation skills and ability to provide documents with clear timeline for completion
• Passionate self-starter and learner
• Bachelor of Science or higher in a technical field or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business or Information Technology
