Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to drive end-to-end enterprise cloud deployments, focusing on InSight DXP. You will bridge design and production, tuning extraction models and building automated pipelines that scale for large clients.

You will collaborate with R&D to push platform capabilities, mentor customer teams, and lead pre-sales technical work including PoCs and architectural reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering supporting enterprise cloud platforms.
• Hands-on scripting in Python, Bash, SQL, and REST/GraphQL API development.
• Cloud & data stack expertise in GCP or Azure, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and serverless architectures.
• AI/ML & IDP mastery with document classification and OCR/IDP extraction concepts.
• Startup growth mindset with fast-paced, proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design & workload delivery for enterprise use cases, ensuring security and scalability.

Job Description: Solution Architect

Role Overview

Are you ready to build on the bleeding edge of enterprise cloud and AI? As a Solution Architect (SA) for Iron Mountain InSight® DXP , you are joining a high-energy team operating with the speed, grit, and innovation of a hyper-growth tech startup-backed by the scale of a global industry powerhouse.

Your mission is to ensure enterprise customers successfully build, deploy, and scale critical unstructured data and AI workloads on InSight® DXP. Operating as the essential bridge between solution design and production build, you won't just draw diagrams-you will get hands-on in the code, tuning extraction models, constructing automated pipelines, and benchmarking non-functional requirements (NFRs) across complex cloud environments.

This isn't a passive maintenance role. As a frontline builder solving real-world customer deployment friction, you will actively test platform limits, build reusable blueprints, and partner directly with R&D to help define the InSight® DXP capabilities of tomorrow.

What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)

1. Architectural Design & Workload Delivery
   • End-to-End Solution Design: Lead architectural design and hands-on implementation of custom enterprise use cases, ensuring platform scalability, security, and performance.
   • Data Pipeline & Workflow Orchestration: Architect and build automated ingestion data pipelines, custom API connections, and intelligent document processing (IDP) workflows operating flawlessly at scale.
   • Extraction Model & HITL Optimization: Configure and tune machine learning models, Document AI extraction pipelines, and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) validation workflows for accuracy and speed.
2. Production Readiness & Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)
   • Performance & Latency Benchmarking: Guarantee system throughput and p95 processing latency limits against strict customer NFRs before handing solutions over to post-sales execution.
   • Security & High Availability Architecture: Ensure architectures adhere to strict enterprise security standards, high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and multi-tenant data isolation parameters.
   • Reusable Blueprint Development: Develop version-controlled code repositories, reusable integration patterns, and standardized solution topology blueprints.
3. Customer Enablement & Field Feedback Loop
   • Developer Mentorship & Alignment: Work side-by-side with customer developers and system integrator (SI) teams, guiding cloud migrations and mentoring engineering staff on platform best practices.
   • Pre-Sales Technical Execution: Partner with account teams to conduct technical pitches, execute Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and eliminate complex technical deployment friction.
   • Co-Defining Tomorrow's Roadmap: Relay real-world technical edge cases, model performance data, and builder feedback directly to Core Engineering to drive next-generation platform features.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Technical Depth)
