Job description

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of innovative technology solutions that align with the client’s strategic goals and business objectives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and account managers, to create scalable, reliable, and secure systems or applications.

This role will report directly to the Head of Solution Architecture.

What You’ll Bring

A Solution Architect brings a unique combination of skills, expertise, and qualities to their role, which is pivotal in designing and implementing complex technology solutions that align with an organization's strategic objectives. You possess in-depth technical knowledge across various domains, including software development, infrastructure, databases, networking, and cloud technologies. You understand the intricacies of different technologies and how they can be integrated to create effective solutions.

You excel in designing solutions. Solution Architects create comprehensive architecture designs that meet both the functional and non-functional requirements of a project, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. You bring a strategic perspective to their work, aligning technology solutions with the organization's long-term goals and business objectives. Solution Architects consider the bigger picture, understanding how their designs impact the organization as a whole.

In this role, effective communication is crucial. Solution Architects must be able to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They facilitate collaboration and ensure that all team members are on the same page.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technology teams and business analysts to design solutions that meet business needs and are of high quality.
  • Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver detailed implementation plans that can be executed by client services.
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently.
Onboarding & Ramp-Up

We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. You’ll have a dedicated ramp-up period with hands-on training to get you familiar with our products, processes, and customers. Depending on your experience, you may start as a Solutions Architect paired with a seasoned SA who will mentor you as you learn. Most new team members reach full independence within 6–12 months, and we’ll support you every step of the way.

Expected Results
  • Deliverables completed within timelines and budget.
  • Results are communicated on a regular cadence through detailed and insightful reports.
  • Execution on complexity of designs.
  • Accuracy of implementation estimates.
Role Requirements
  • Hands-on CRM platform experience — HubSpot, Salesforce, or a comparable enterprise CRM. You need to understand how a CRM works at an architectural level: data models, automation logic, integration patterns, and the limitations of native configuration.
  • Client-facing delivery experience. You have been part of delivering solutions to clients, including some of, but not all - running discovery sessions, contributing to solution design, handing off work to an implementation team, or supporting a client through implementation. You understand what it means to translate a business problem into something technical that someone else can execute.
  • Resourceful and technically curious. Whether it's a new platform, reading API documentation, or working through an unfamiliar problem without waiting for someone to hand you the answer.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements with high quality. You have operated in an environment where context-switching is a common part of the job.
  • Written communication that works without a conversation with additional context. The documentation you produce, process maps, work packages, integration specs, needs to be clear enough for the implementation team to act on without a follow-up call.
  • Accountable, organized, and delivers on promises. You do what you say you will do, you flag problems early, and you don’t let things quietly fall behind.
  • Availability for client and internal calls across US time zones as needed. This is not a fixed schedule requirement, but you need to be reachable when it matters.
Role Nice-to-Haves
  • HubSpot-specific platform experience.
  • Background in software development, systems engineering, or a technical discipline.
  • Experience with integration architecture — APIs, middleware, iPaaS platforms, data mapping.
  • Experience with data migration — field mapping, deduplication strategy, data quality triage, cutover planning.
  • Familiarity with architecture diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or similar.
Benefits and Perks
  • The base salary for this role is USD $100,000 to $130,000. With bonus opportunities, total target compensation is $120,000–$150,000, commensurate with experience. Outstanding candidates may be considered for higher ranges.
  • Note: For roles filled via an Employer of Record (EOR), final compensation is subject to review prior to offer, based on local market rates and statutory costs.
  • The company pays 50% of health insurance benefits for you and your dependents. (Available for U.S. W-2s only)
  • Bring Your Own Device.
  • 20 days of PTO.
  • 10 paid Holidays. (for U.S. employees; international employees receive their country’s statutory minimum holidays)
  • 401 (k) plan available for employee contributions. (Available for U.S. W-2s only)
  • We are an all-remote company.
  • Work with a team of high-achievers in a collaborative environment where everyone has a real chance to contribute.
  • Work with a highly supportive, accepting, and inclusive founding team.
