Wellington Management is seeking a Solution Architect, Technology to lead architecture and design for key products and platforms. You will translate business requirements into end-to-end solutions, produce architecture artifacts, and guide engineering teams to maintain design intent.
You will partner with product owners and technology leaders to define roadmaps, assess dependencies, and balance trade-offs between functionality, scalability, and cost.

Lead architecture and technical design activities for one or more products, platforms, or solution domains.
Translate business requirements, product vision, and operational objectives into end-to-end solution architectures.
Create logical, physical, integration, data, security, and deployment architectures for business initiatives.
Ensure solutions balance functionality, scalability, maintainability, resiliency, performance, cost, and operational supportability.
Produce architecture artifacts and design documentation that clearly communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs.
Guide engineering teams through architecture implementation and ensure design intent is maintained throughout delivery.
Partner with Product Owners and technology leaders to define architecture roadmaps and technical runways that support product evolution.
Identify technology dependencies, architecture constraints, modernization opportunities, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
Ensure architecture investment decisions align with product priorities and long-term platform goals.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to ensure product roadmaps are aligned with enterprise technology strategies.
Support planning activities by identifying solution risks, required architecture investments, and implementation sequencing.
Help teams make informed build-versus-buy decisions based on business value, risk, complexity, and strategic alignment.
Ensure solution designs adhere to Wellington's architecture standards, patterns, principles, and governance requirements.
Participate in Architecture Review Board reviews and architecture working groups where required.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to address architecture findings, design recommendations, and governance requirements.
Maintain traceability between architecture decisions, business requirements, and approved standards.
