Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will partner with customers and our sales team to design solutions for water quality and smart metering systems. Your focus will be on building relationships, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional value rather than transactional selling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor during the pre‑sales process, providing technical expertise and solution design.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Channel Managers, and distributors to present innovative technologies to customers and prospects.
• Participate in technical seminars, trade shows, and industry events to showcase Badger Meter’s leadership in water technology.
• Respond to RFPs, bids, and customer inquiries with precision and professionalism.
• Mentor and support internal teams, sharing knowledge and best practices to strengthen overall sales effectiveness.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings to ensure Badger Meter remains the partner of choice for utilities and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in the water/wastewater industry or technical solution design.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to travel as needed for customer engagement and industry events.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected annual compensation for this role is $115,000.00 plus monthly incentive.
