Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Houston, TX with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You may deliver solo to TX, LA, MS, AR, OK, with 1–2 nights out and start times from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Hazmat endorsement is required. Training is provided. Ryder emphasizes safety, respect for talent, and a community of logistics professionals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must provide Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Pass Ryder Drug Test and Background check incl. DOT physical.
• 3–5 years tractor trailer experience options: 9 months/2 years/5 years.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs and records.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
