Job summary

MAC Trailer in Billings, MT is seeking a Drafter/Designer with SolidWorks experience to develop 3D production models and drawings for our manufacturing plant.

You will interpret reference documents, ensure drawings meet company standards, and support engineering teams throughout the design process. On-site position with full benefits and opportunities for growth. Knowledge of manufacturability and design-for-manufacture will be valued.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent training.
Specialized courses in SolidWorks or two years of experience.
SolidWorks proficiency: intermediate to advanced.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities

Develop 3D production models and drawings using SolidWorks.
Collect, read, interpret, and use related reference documents and drawings.
Assure that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards.

Qualifications

2 or 4 year engineering degree or other applicable training.
Specialized courses in SolidWorks, design and engineering practices or two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Intermediate to Advanced skills using SolidWorks.
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
