Job summary

HII - Mission Technologies in Crane, IN is seeking a Drafter to support engineering and configuration management. You will develop and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with project requirements and CAD standards, in a fast-paced environment with a SECRET clearance.

Ideal candidates have SolidWorks expertise, experience with document control, and attention to detail, with LEVEL 2 or LEVEL 3 qualifications.

Qualifications

• LEVEL 2: Associate's degree or 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
• LEVEL 3: Associate's degree or 2-year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with advanced modeling and drawing skills.
• Solid understanding of configuration control, documentation standards, and CAD data management.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
• Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
• Support configuration management activities including document control, revision tracking, and engineering change integration.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, CAD standards, and applicable industry specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to maintain design accuracy and proper documentation.
• Participate in configuration audits and maintain accurate records of engineering and design data.
• Maintain excellent quality standards in all drafting and documentation deliverables.
