Job summary

Qualifications

• US citizen per requirement.
• 4–6 years of design for manufacturing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Design desirable.
• Experience with multiple materials and manufacturing methods (wood, plastic, sheet metal).
• Strong reading of technical manuals and documentation.
• Understanding parametric vs mesh modeling.

Responsibilities

• Modify CAD assets for animation, such as separating joined components.
• Generate 3D CAD assets from 2D CAD drawings or references.
• Create simple 3D assets from products (reverse engineering) and basic mesh tasks.
• Evaluate assembly processes and potential end-user issues.
• Coordinate with customers and other departments as needed.
