Golden Boat Lifts is seeking a SolidWorks Drafter to join our R&D team in Florida. You will create 3D models and detailed drawings for new boat lifts and docks, driving concepts from idea to build-ready parts and assemblies.

You will collaborate with drafting and production teams, revise designs based on testing and standards, and help ensure parts fit and perform as intended. This role emphasizes independent project work within a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and analytical skills.

• One year of SolidWorks experience required; R&D experience preferred.

SolidWorks Drafter – Research & Development

Help create our next generation of boat lifts and docks.

Golden Boat Lifts is looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, and creative SolidWorks Drafter to join our team, with a focus on research and development (R&D). You’ll create 3D models and drawings that help us develop new products and improve the ones we build today.

In this role, you’ll do more than update drawings. You’ll help explore new ideas, work through design challenges, and turn concepts into models that can be built and tested. You’ll work independently on assigned projects while working closely with our drafting and production teams. What You’ll Do

• Support new product development: Help turn ideas for new boat lifts, docks, and product improvements into detailed models and drawings.
• Create in 3D: Use SolidWorks to model parts and assemblies and prepare drawings for prototypes and production.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Use and understand basic measuring tools and techniques.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Lift up to 30 LBS. Occasionally, 15 LBS. Frequently, 10 LBS Overhead

Minimum And Experience

• One year of SolidWorks experience required. Experience in research and development is preferred
• Knowledge of machining and other manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
