Job summary

Avance Cabinetry is seeking a Solid Wood Associate to join our manufacturing team in Fall River, MA. This role involves selecting materials, cutting, machining, assembling, and sanding cabinet doors, drawer heads and face frames using machinery, hand tools, and power tools.

You will work safely in a fast-paced environment, operate CNC machinery, read blueprints, and maintain quality finishes. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime as needed; benefits include 401(k) matching, health

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with CNC machinery and power tools preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete solid wood components for production/orders.
  • Manufacture doors and drawer heads, including cutting, machining, assembling, calibrating thickness, and preparing for finishing.
  • Manufacture face frames through cutting, calibrating, machining, and assembling.
  • Safely operate computer-controlled machines, table saws, router tables, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.

Description

Avance Cabinetry delivers quality materials and pristine finishes for cabinetry that is functional & purposeful utilizing an advanced manufacturing process for efficiency and traditional woodworking methods for stability and craftsmanship.

We are looking for a Solid Wood Associate to join our manufacturing team! This individual will be responsible for choosing the proper materials, cutting, machining, assembling, and sanding cabinet doors, drawer heads and face frames using machinery, hand tools, and power tools. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and other tasks as requested.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing solid wood components for production orders, purchase orders, FedEx replacement orders, and warehouse transfers.
  • Door and drawer head manufacturing , which is a multi-step process that includes cutting and machining raw solid wood, cutting door center panels, assembling the doors, calibrating the doors thickness, machining the outside profile, drilling hinge holes, and preparing the final product to be finished.
  • Face frame manufacturing, which is a multi-step process that includes cutting, calibrating, and machining raw solid wood, assembling the face frame, and preparing the product to be finished.
  • Safely and effectively using computer operated machines, table saws, router tables, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Assisting in other departments, and with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with using CNC Machinery and power tools preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
  • Ability to effectively read a tape measure and blueprints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 49 lbs.
  • Safety shoes are required.

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
