Job summary

Auburn-Ridge is seeking a dependable Cabinet Stager to join our manufacturing team in Wisconsin. You will organize, sand, stage, and assemble cabinet components, using CAD drawings and a variety of hand and power tools.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, safety, and a collaborative approach to keep production moving smoothly. You’ll work with edgebanders, sanders, and other equipment, maintain stock, and participate in KPI tracking and team meetings.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of woodworking or related experience required; production or manufacturing preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge of and ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Knowledge of machining and assembly practices.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.
  • Working knowledge of safety procedures when performing job duties.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move 50 to 100 pounds throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, sand, and stage cabinet face frames received from the face frame assembly department for the finishing process.
  • Assemble custom wood tops, shelves, floating shelves, aprons, and hoods by reviewing and interpreting CAD drawings.
  • Organize and stage fibercore trim materials for production.
  • Organize and stage materials coming from the CNC router.
  • Maintain stock inventory through routine cycle counts.
  • Organize defective materials and prepare them for shipment back to vendors.
  • Properly maintain production equipment, including the edgebander, sanders, belt sander, and power tools.
  • Complete required daily KPIs accurately and on time.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings, one-on-one meetings, and scheduled performance evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
