Miami County Sanitary Engineering is seeking a hands-on operator to support daily operations. You will operate equipment, perform routine inspections, and help ensure safety compliance within the department.

Responsibilities include operating a semi-tractor to transfer solid waste, assisting with loading and compacting, and performing general maintenance while following safety rules. Regular hours and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ohio driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operates semi-tractor to transfer solid waste for disposal or recycling.
• Assists Transfer Station Operator 2 in loading and compacting solid waste.
• Inspects equipment for proper fluid levels and maintenance needs.
• Assists with maintenance of grounds and facility and with custodial duties as directed.
