Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on solid waste vehicles and equipment, including greasing trucks and checking fluid levels.
• Conducts light mechanical repairs on solid waste vehicles, containers, carts, and related equipment.
• Delivers, repairs, and replaces residential refuse and recycling containers.
• Assists with installation, repair, and maintenance of dumpsters and other solid waste containers.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of solid waste facilities, including shops and yards.
• Picks up and disposes of litter and debris around facilities and service areas.
