Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support our Solid Waste practice. The role focuses on design, permitting, construction and operation of landfills, transfer stations, and related facilities.

Candidates with 3+ years in civil, environmental, or solid waste engineering are encouraged to apply. Preference for PE or EIT licensure; based in Madison, WI with opportunity for Midwest consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in civil, environmental, or solid waste engineering.
• PE or EIT preferred; licensure desirable.
• Experience with landfill design, permitting, or site development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and support solid waste infrastructure including landfills and transfer stations.
• Coordinate planning, permitting, design and construction with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide QA/QC and construction support for landfill gas collection and leachate management systems.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with others on multiple projects.
