Job summary

Faithtalent Advisors seeks a Civil Engineer with geotechnical emphasis to manage projects in the solid waste field, performing stability, settlement and seepage analyses, civil design of surface water and leachate systems, and coordinating field and laboratory investigations. You will lead task management, write technical reports, and communicate with clients and regulatory agencies.

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel is required, with EIT or PE preferred and a BS in Civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis; Master’s preferred.
• 2–10 years of relevant geotechnical experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel; EIT or P.E. registration.

Main Areas of Responsibility

Technical Expertise in Civil Engineering

• Stability, Settlement, and Seepage Analysis: Ability to perform and interpret complex analyses related to solid waste disposal facilities.
• Civil Engineering Design: Proficiency in designing surface water systems, leachate collection and pumping systems, and grading for solid waste disposal facilities.

Field and Laboratory Investigation Skills

• Coordination: Experience in establishing and coordinating field and lab investigations to characterize solid waste facilities.

Project Management

• Task Management: Ability to manage various project tasks and ensure timely project completion.
• Client Interaction: Skills in responding to client needs and questions and preparing proposals.

Technical Reporting

• Report Preparation: Experience in overseeing and preparing detailed technical reports.

Communication Skills

• Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with clients, regulatory agencies, colleagues, and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical engineering; Masters degree is highly preferred
• At least 2-10 years of relevant experience with geotechnical projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel
• EIT or P.E. registration
• Solid written and oral communication skills to include proposal writing and reporting
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and willingness to take on diverse challenges
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel out of town
