Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
- Master’s Degree preferred; or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP).
- New York State License with current registration as a registered professional nurse.
- Progressive managerial and clinical experience in the area.
Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day management of solid tumor clinical research nursing teams.
- Supervises licensed staff to ensure protocol compliance and data collection.
- Delivers exemplary patient care while maintaining high-quality protocol conduct.
- Coordinates enrollments, patient follow-up, and protocol treatments in trials.
- Guides nursing teams on protocol adherence and source data accuracy.
- Collaborates with physicians to recruit patients and schedule assessments.
- Ensures safe administration of investigational agents per protocol.
- Maintains research documentation and integrates with clinical operations.
