Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to assure compliance with orientation, competency, and performance improvement for nursing staff across the designated clinical program. You will interface with multiple departments to manage education, staff performance, and outcome measures supporting clinical practice.

Key duties include overseeing operations, staff development, budget management, SOP maintenance, and collaboration with leadership to ensure high-quality nursing

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing required.
  • NP certification in specialty area preferred.
  • 5 years directly related nursing experience; some supervisory experience preferred.
  • New York State license as a registered professional nurse.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical operations within the program to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Recruit, orient, train, coach, and evaluate staff per policies; delegate tasks and monitor performance.
  • Develop and manage departmental budget with financial oversight.
  • Plan and maintain departmental standard operating procedures and review for changes.
  • Coordinate educational and performance improvement activities with nursing, medical, and quality leadership.
  • Provide resources and education to departments relative to nursing care delivery within quality frameworks.
  • Establish and implement short and long-term goals for high performance in nursing care delivery.
