Job summary

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to assure compliance with orientation, competency assessment, and clinical practice within a designated nursing program.

This role partners with Nursing, Medical and Quality Leadership to drive education, performance improvement, budgeting, and policy development. Master’s in Nursing and NY RN license required; NP certification preferred. Location in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• New York State RN License with current registration.
• 5 years of directly related nursing leadership/management experience.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program and improves processes and outcomes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff.
• Develops and maintains departmental budget with financial oversight.
• Plans and maintains departmental standard operating procedures.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with Nursing, Medical and Quality Leadership.
• Establishes and implements goals, policies, and operating procedures for high performance.
