Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider I or II to evaluate, treat, and manage acute and chronic illness in oncology patients. You’ll perform assessments, order tests, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications, while mentoring junior staff.

Base salary plus geographic differential is offered, with starting rates of $126,102 (AP Provider I) or $138,732 (AP Provider II) annually, including a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in NY with NP certification; Master’s degree in Nursing or higher.
• Alternate Educational Path: NYS PA license with NCCPA certification and PA Studies degree.
• Two years of AP Provider experience in cancer care or acute care required.
• ACLS certification within six months of appointment.

Provides continued care throughout the patient's medical journey. Educates and mentors Advanced Practice Provider I and additional clinical staff including, nursing, residents, fellows, and other healthcare interns and students. This position includes a base salary and geographic differential. The total combined starting rate for the Advanced Practice Provider I (Grade 28) is $126,102 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The total combined starting salary for the Advanced Practice Provider II (Grade 30) is $138,732 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. To qualify for the Advanced Practice Provider II (Grade 30) the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time progressively responsible Advanced Practice Provider experience in a service line at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or at a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park is required.## **Qualifications:**Required Education and Experience Nurse Practitioner Educational Path: 1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York; and 2. Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification; and 3. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA); and 4. Master’s or higher-level degree in Nursing. OR Physician Assistant Educational Path: 1. License to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York; and 2. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) or other national certifying body recognized by the New York State Education Department; and 3. Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Physician Assistant Studies; or 4. Bachelor’s or higher-level degree and completion of a Physician Assistant Certificate Program recognized by the New York State Education Department. AND Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Educational Path: The equivalent of two (2) years of full-time progressively responsible Advanced Practice Provider experience in a service line at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or at a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park. NOTE: 1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title. 2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
