Adden Energy, Inc. in the Boston area is seeking a Research Technician to scale our solid-state battery technology. You will develop mixing and coating processes, assemble solid-state cells, and operate mass balances, coaters, and gloveboxes in a fast-moving lab environment.

This role runs on a 3rd shift schedule after an initial day shift training month; BS degree in a related field and hands-on lab experience are required, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in chemical engineering, chemistry, material science, or related field.
• Experience mixing and coating battery materials for cathode, anode, and solid electrolyte.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, highly technical environment.
• Experience in a chemical laboratory and safety compliance.

Responsabilités

• Develop battery material mixing and coating processes with tooling and inspection methods.
• Assemble solid-state batteries per procedures.
• Operate mass balances, mixer, coater, and gloveboxes and related lab equipment.
• Maintain laboratory environmental standards and equipment.
• Coordinate and execute equipment maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
