Job summary

DataMyte, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mobile Application Developer with deep Android and iOS native skills and AI-driven development fluency.

This sole-ownership role covers end-to-end development, maintenance, and modernization of DataMyte's mobile apps across both platforms. You will partner with executives and engineering leadership to shape architecture, evaluate technologies, ensure platform stability, and deliver high-quality user experiences for diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing mobile applications across both Android and iOS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams including Marketing and Sales.
• Ability to work independently as a sole mobile platform owner, with strong judgment, self-direction, and accountability.
• Strong documentation discipline to ensure knowledge continuity and platform stability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development, delivery, and maintenance of native Android and iOS apps, ensuring parity and quality.
• Build responsive interfaces for phones and tablets on both platforms.
• Apply AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery, modernization, and code quality.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Development teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage Proof of Concept activities to validate new features and architectural directions.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Apply MVC, MVVM, MVP patterns and decide when to use each.
• Build and consume reusable components and libraries across both platforms.
• Integrate with backend services, cloud infrastructure, and third-party APIs.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization for real-device conditions.
• Implement and maintain manual and automated unit tests to ensure quality and stability.
• Coordinate with offshore engineering contractors during knowledge transfer periods.
• Perform design and code reviews and share mobile development knowledge with the team.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and onboarding materials.
• Manage release activities across App Store and Google Play, including review compliance and rollout coordination.
