Job summary

Select Staffing in Van Nuys, CA is seeking an electronics solderer for an electronics manufacturer. This on-site role focuses on soldering and assembling PCBs to IPC610 Class II standards, with a day shift starting at 7:00 AM.

Pay is $23.00 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to assembly and rework tasks in a collaborative team environment. This position runs Monday to Friday in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in electronic manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of soldering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble SMT/SMD components according to instructions.
• Notify supervisor of form/fit problems during assembly.
• Solder electronic components to IPC610 Class II standards.
• Perform PCB rework per documented instructions.
• Comply with ESD requirements and maintain a clean workspace.

Monday to Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs all necessary duties associated with soldering / assembling of products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assemble SMT / SMD components different sizes according to assembly instructions and/or written/verbal instruction.
• Notify supervisor when a form or fit problem occurs during assembly.
• Perform soldering of electronic components to IPC610 class II standards.
• Perform rework to Printed Circuit Board Assemblies per documented instructions
• Comply with company ESD requirements.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• General knowledge of manufacturing and its’ procedures.
• Soldering capabilities to IPC610 Class II standards.
• Good judgment and ingenuity.
• Good time management, communication, and decision making skills.
• Excellent team work skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School graduate or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 year experience in an electronic manufacturing environment with knowledge of the manufacturing process.
• 1+ year of electronic soldering experience
