Job summary

ACT Entertainment in Jackson, MO is seeking a dedicated soldering technician for our manufacturing line. You will assemble and solder components, read build documents, and maintain quality and safety standards.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions. Prior soldering experience is a plus, and physical stamina to stand and lift light parts is expected.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for soldering our products efficiently for our manufacturing operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Produce quality products in a timely manner.
  • Use hand and power tools correctly that are necessary for the job along with hand and stand soldering irons.
  • Read a build document and order and know when to ask questions when necessary.
  • Know what cold solder is and what is considered quality work.
  • Learn all product builds and new products as they develop.
  • Inspect metal and product for flaws before soldering.
  • Read a ruler for strip length accuracy.
  • Complete a daily quota sheet documenting all work that is done for the day.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

  • The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
