Job summary

ACT Entertainment in Jackson, MO is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to lead shop operations, punching and fabricating enclosures and power distribution panels for audio products. This full-time, non-exempt hourly role reports to the Director of Operations and offers an opportunity to drive efficiency in a growing company.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with power tools, strong teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

This position is responsible for punching and fabricating custom enclosers, panels and wall plates for our audio, logo panels and power distribution products.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Pull prioritized orders located in shop/setup area from order shelf.

  • Read technical drawing or review physical sample, identifying dimensions, layout, surface finishing, and labeling.

  • Tool metalwork according to drawing or layout.

  • Set up punches and dies correctly.

  • Punch, sand and form in preparation for powder coating, if needed.

  • Participate in training to learn all facets of the job through various resources.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • None.


Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with previous on-the-job/hands-on training experience preferred.

  • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

  • Good reading and writing skills, with the desire to learn facets of the job.
