Job summary

L.K. Jordan & Associates in NE Austin is seeking a Solderer Level to assemble components on printed circuit boards and related assemblies. The role involves reading drawings and following BOMs, using hand and power tools as needed.

You will solder surface mount and through-hole components, ensure an error-free product, and work under general supervision. Training on dayshift is provided before moving to the 2pm–10pm shift.

Qualifications

• Pass IPC-610 soldering test.
• IPC-610 certification preferred.
• Related experience and/or training.
• Must have good eyesight and cannot be colorblind.

Responsibilities

• Interprets drawings, BOMs, and diagrams.
• Solders electronic components (surface mount and through-hole) to PCBs.
• Ensures output of an error-free quality product.
• Solders cable assemblies to connectors and components to PCBs.
• Works under general supervision.

Solderer Level in NE Austin by Cameron/Dessau Rd Temp to Hire $22 plus DOE Monday - Friday 2pm-10pm Need to train on Dayshift first

OVERVIEW

Solders components to printed circuit boards and other board assemblies. Accomplishes various production assembly functions. Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal and/or written instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams. Operates hand tools, power tools and production equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately interprets various types of drawings, bill of materials, and diagrams.
• Solders electronic components both surface mount and through-hole devices to printed circuit boards.
• Responsible for output of an error-free quality product.
• Solders cable assemblies to connectors; solders components to printed circuit boards.
• Works under general supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pass IPC-610 soldering test
• Previous IPC-610 certification preferred
• Related experience and/or training
• Must have good or correctable eyesight and cannot be colorblind
