Job summary

TechStaff of AZ in Tempe, AZ seeks skilled Solder Technicians for through-hole soldering on PCBs. Shifts include 1st, 2nd and 3rd with varied schedules; you will solder, inspect, test, and pack to meet customer specifications.

The role requires IPC training, safety adherence, and ability to operate X-ray, AOI, and depanelizers. Offers competitive hourly pay and benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years soldering experience on Class 3 products.
• IPC-A-610 certified and strong working knowledge of ESD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Connect through hole, wires, cables and other components using Class 3 soldering and other bonding techniques and equipment
• Complete visual in-process and final inspection on all products to ensure customer specifications are being met
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Participate in IPC training and become certified as a Specialist
• Operate X-ray, AOI and other assessment equipment
• Operate Depanelizers and Press-fit equipment according to operating standards
• Test finished PCBs using customer specific equipment
• Follow customer packing requirements and processes for shipping
• Participate in and adhere to company's safety procedures and practices
• Perform work meeting ESD and quality standards

3 Solder technicians needed! (through-hole soldering)

1st shift: M-F 6AM-2:30PM

2nd shift: M-F 2:30pm - 11:00PM

3rd shift Sunday through Thursday schedule from 11pm - 6am

Will complete and on site solder assessment

Pay 19-22/hr

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager, The Solder Technician's role is to install manual parts on Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) to transform the assembly to a completed state. The Solder Technician performs soldering, manual and machine inspection, and testing to ensure reliability of customer products.
