Job summary

Sistema Technologies is seeking a SolarWinds Network Administrator for a 1-year hybrid role based in Austin, TX. The engineer will administer and optimize the SolarWinds environment, manage Orion components, and ensure high availability for 1500+ devices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience administering the SolarWinds Orion Platform (NPM, NCM, SAM, etc.).
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience in monitoring 1500+ devices in a large enterprise.
• Design and optimize alerting to reduce noise and improve response times.
• Build NOC dashboards and executive reports for visibility.
• Develop custom SQL queries for availability and performance data.
• Automate workflows with Power Automate, Teams, and Power BI.
• Troubleshoot monitoring issues, polling failures, and platform services.
• Coordinate with network teams for root cause analysis and incident resolution.
• Maintain monitoring standards and documentation.

Sistema is looking for a SolarWinds Network Administrator with our government client based in Austin, TX for a 1-year position.

This Hybrid position may require some onsite work at our client’s site in Austin, TX. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
