Job summary

Visionaire Partners is seeking a Network Operations & Monitoring Engineer to join a mission-critical buildout in Tucker, GA. You will refine inventories across thousands of devices, transition legacy maps, and standardize monitoring across an optical/MPLS environment to boost performance.

This hybrid role offers 2 days of remote work after onboarding and a 20-month contract with potential extension, plus comprehensive benefits under W-2.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SolarWinds administration, onboarding, and health optimization.
• Experience transitioning legacy network maps to modern topology tools.
• Deep knowledge of SNMP traps, event management, and alert noise reduction.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Refine, optimize, and validate inventories across 2,500+ monitored devices within enterprise monitoring systems.
• Transition ~350 legacy network maps to modern intelligent topology mapping tools.
• Standardize monitoring and alerting protocols across 250 core infrastructure nodes in an optical/MPLS environment.
• Perform deep-dive reviews of event trap data to filter fiber-break and network event alerts, significantly reducing noise.
• Lead configuration management and monitoring activities to deliver end-to-end operational visibility.
