Job summary

Visionaire Partners is seeking a Contract Network Engineer in Tucker, GA (Hybrid - 2 WFH days) to lead core design and documentation for a multi-site network expansion.

You will build site design packages, engineer wireless overlay/underlay diagrams, and model infrastructure to transition sites into operations. No travel required.

This is a long-term contract with full-time W-2 benefits, including 401(k) and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• Expertise in network documentation (Visio diagrams, rack elevations, cable run lists, MoPs).
• Hands-on experience with NetBox or similar IPAM/DCIM tools.
• Core understanding of MPLS, Optical networking, and Wireless overlay/underlay concepts.
• Ability to clear background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Network Design: Engineer wireless overlay and underlay network designs for ~200 sites.
• Documentation Packages: Develop engineering packages for 84 new MPLS nodes and 50 optical nodes.
• Diagrams & MoPs: Create accurate Visio diagrams, cable run lists, rack elevations, and Methods of Procedure for assigned sites.
• Infrastructure Modeling: Model and manage network infrastructure for ~20 OPC plant sites using NetBox as the source of truth.
• Site Preparation: Populate site details, build rack elevations, and map installation dependencies to ensure operational readiness.

We are hiring a top-notch Network Engineer to drive core design and documentation efforts for a high-priority network expansion.

In this role, you will build site design packages, engineer wireless overlay/underlay diagrams, and model critical infrastructure to transition newly commissioned sites directly into operations.

No travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design: Engineer wireless overlay and underlay network designs for ~200 sites.
• Documentation Packages: Develop engineering packages for 84 new MPLS nodes and 50 optical nodes.
• Diagrams & MoPs: Create accurate Visio diagrams, cable run lists, rack elevations, and Methods of Procedure for assigned sites.
• Infrastructure Modeling: Model and manage network infrastructure for ~20 OPC plant sites using NetBox as the source of truth.
