Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy in Durant, OK is seeking a Solar Technician, Level 2 (S2) to perform routine maintenance on solar assets and support safe, reliable power generation. You will document activities in CMMS and collaborate with Site Lead and teammates.

This role emphasizes hands-on learning, safety compliance, and the ability to work in different weather conditions while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks on solar panels, inverters, racking, and tracking systems.
• Record maintenance activities in CMMS including work orders updates and closure.
• Follow safety protocols, including PPE and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist in preparing reports on maintenance activities and recommendations for future work.
• Engage in on-the-job training to develop technical skills and advance to higher levels.
• Handle and organize tools, equipment, and materials for maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Site Lead and higher-level technicians to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform physical tasks up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
