Invenergy LLC in Bastrop, Louisiana, is seeking a Solar Technician for the Beekman Energy Center. You will assist in operating and maintaining a 185 MW-AC solar facility, with responsibilities across site equipment, inverters, trackers, and substations.

The role requires mechanical and electrical maintenance, vegetation management, and strong safety practices. You will work 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with overtime and possible night shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of technical experience (electrical) or related technical education.
• Willing to travel up to 30% and support other project sites in the region.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance activities.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and equipment.
• Perform vegetation management using large equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic problems including inverter and tracker faults.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of site components.
• Conduct daily site maintenance wearing safety equipment to inspect and repair equipment.
• Work 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Mon–Fri (40 hours) with overtime/night work.
• Maintain tooling, facilities, and a safe environment.
