Job summary

Swift Solar in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to shape our materials and supplier strategies as we scale toward production. You will define specifications with R&D, verify lab-quality incoming materials, and support sourcing for new builds.

You’ll work with the product and manufacturing teams to drive supplier evaluations, LOIs, and agreements. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years in supply chain engineering, a materials/chemistry/physics background, and experience in QA/QC,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of engineering experience in supply chain or related field.
• Degree in Engineering or Science (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry, or Physics).
• Experience managing supplier relationships end-to-end.
• Experience documenting chemical and material specifications.
• Familiarity with QA/QC methods and material characterization.
• Knowledge of pricing, agreements, and demand planning in sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Define material specifications with R&D and verify incoming quality.
• Source for new builds and manage supplier evaluations and audits.
• Lead supplier development, LOIs, and long-term agreements.
• Collaborate across R&D, Engineering, Product, and Operations.
• Build scalable supplier processes as production grows.
