Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PGD Plant Technician for the Central Solar & Storage Region based in Weatherford, TX. You will support inventory management, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials for utility-scale solar and BESS sites.

The role involves warehouse operations, outdoor work, and operating material handling equipment with strict adherence to safety standards; occasional travel may be required up to ~25% to project sites within the Central Region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory operations for Central Region solar and BESS sites.
• Receive, inspect, document, and process incoming shipments for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate staging, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials to field locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments to new sites with proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to Supply Chain and Operations.
• Keep warehouse and staging area clean, organized, and safe.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
