Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a PGD Plant Technician – Central Solar & Storage Region based in Weatherford, TX, to support inventory management, material logistics, and field operations for utility-scale solar and BESS facilities.

You will coordinate receiving, staging, and distributing materials, maintain accurate records, and work with Operations, Supply Chain and Project Management. Some travel (~25%) to project sites.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Experience: 3+ years in related role.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory operations for Central Region solar/BESS sites.
• Receive, inspect, document, and process incoming shipments.
• Coordinate staging, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages to Supply Chain.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and staging areas.
• Coordinate deliveries with carriers and site personnel.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Support emergency material requests as needed.
