Job summary

NextEra Energy’s Florida Power & Light Company seeks an entry-level Associate PGD Engineer to join the Power Generation Solar Operations Team in Florida. You will participate in daily operation and maintenance of large-scale solar and battery facilities, with field work and hands-on engineering support.

Under limited guidance, you will perform routine tasks, support safety and environmental compliance, and collaborate with engineering staff, OEMs, vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments with clear objectives and limited variables to investigate.
• Performs work on conventional plans, investigations, structures, or equipment with relatively few complex features.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
