Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources in Weatherford, TX is hiring a PGD Plant Technician – Central Solar & Storage. You will support inventory management, receive and inspect shipments, and coordinate staging and distribution of materials for utility-scale solar and BESS projects.

Regular travel up to 25% and safety compliance are required to keep sites running efficiently. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3+ years of experience, and SAP or ERP experience; Associate’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• 3+ years experience.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day inventory operations for Central Region solar and BESS sites.
• Receive, inspect, document, and process incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and compliance with PO and standards.
• Coordinate staging, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials and equipment to field locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors and site personnel to schedule deliveries and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
