Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an Equipment Operator Light for the Blue Rock Solar project in Virginia. You will operate skid steers, bobcats, forklifts and other machinery to support solar installation activities.

The role emphasizes safety and requires adherence to safety procedures while operating equipment. You will help maintain equipment, materials, and sites, and coordinate with foremen and spotters to ensure smooth and safe installations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, bob cats, forklifts.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA standards in field operations.
• Ability to read site plans and coordinate with foreman and spotters.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety as a core value and follow the safety program.
• Perform grading, excavation, and solar-related operations using equipment.
• Spotting and locating utilities to avoid damage.
• Operate equipment around solar components with safe clearances.
• Maintain spoil piles and equipment cleanliness according to site requirements.
• Communicate with spotters and team members to ensure safe operations.
• Report equipment needing repairs to the foreman promptly.
